Have Been Away..!!

We apologize for having been away for so long. Our patent has not been granted as of this date, although the patent application comes in as a FIRST link on a Google search!! This is exciting.

We have been able to modestly support our mission purpose. We are working on gaining funding to improve our website and to allow us to commit ourselves full-time to our cause. We have faith that our mission is deserving of positive stimulus in the near future. In the meantime, we also have faith that our country's entrepreneurial spirit shall assist in the recovery of our country's economic and employment climate.

More about our mission model..

Yunus, the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner, founded a banking system 30 years ago to lend small amounts of money to the rural poor in Bangladeshi villages. Most of the low-interest microloans go to women, who use them to start their own profit-making enterprises, mainly in agriculture, crafts, or services.

Grameen Bank now has 2,422 branches, employs more than 20,000 people, and has loaned more than $6 billion since its founding. Borrowers own most of the equity in the bank. The company has been profitable in all but three years since it was founded.

Yunus imagined what would happen if a bank extended credit to those people who would never traditionally receive it. In the process, he created a system that empowered the poor by helping them become entrepreneurs.

Patent Pending

We are proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued our Patent Pending number for our NORMAC process! We have came a long way since our concept was a mere thought back in 2004. As the founder, I wish to thank God for his guidance and blessings and also to all who have assisted my efforts and contributing in getting to this point. We now may begin our mission, our vision. We are searching for a qualified sponsor to help us get NORMAC up and running throughout America...

Conference Call - UPDATE

______________________________________________________________________
Well, the call went well. We were great on conversation....but lacked a bit on the discussion...Those of you who were on the call, it was great talking with you and to those who missed the call, I accept any Dr.'s excuse...

We will reschedule, in fact, at least 6-12 weeks of refocusing needs to be accomplished before the next call will need to be scheduled.

do feel free to CALL ME ANYTIME to discuss our progress or exchange a view.
I shall email status to you during this period.
_______________________________________________________________
_______________________________________________________________
The first A/V conference call for principals of the
FUND of America Inc is scheduled for Tuesday - February 27 - 5:30pm CST.

Our focus will be organization, distribution, direction, and vision of
NORMAC.

There will be open discussion on opinions of Social Entrepreneurship.

I wish to thank God for our abilities and our sense of human spirit. I want to also thank everyone on this call for wanting to share in a vision of creating something new.

the FUND of America will become widely known as the right thing to do.

I want to say that I am humbled by what is before us. As the concept unfolds, I am realizing a possibility of the true impact upon the EFT method of retail payments. I truly feel that we can have a significant impact upon socially conscious corporate America. When first conceived, the concept was simply to create a fund that would be available to fill in the gaps of services available by and through large orgs like the Red Cross, United Way, FEMA, and others. We realize that those efforts even fall short of the need in time of disaster. As we are in the process of refocusing our direction, we see other beneficial aspects of certain applications of our services.

Now, I see that the metamorphosis of the FUND of America Inc is in the cocoon stage…we have been wriggling around for awhile looking around, now we are resting, growing, awaiting our decision on what image to unveil when we emerge from this cocoon. Butterflies we will not be, I assure you. The FUND will gain strong support as its benefits become known. This should occur within the first 6 months, then we know that we have WOWed them...... and they will want the FUND forever....!

Muhammad Yunus- 2006 Nobel Peace Prize

Muhammad Yunus delivered his Nobel Lecture, listen or read text, on 10 December 2006 at the Oslo City Hall, Norway. He was introduced by Professor Ole Danbolt Mjøs, Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Professor Yunus begins his Nobel Lecture with a few words in Bangla.
Here is a link to the Grameen Group, they have done some amazing work in the past 3 decades by the grace of God.
Muhammad Yunus achieved his PH.D in economics in 1969 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and taught Economics at Middle Tennessee State University until 1972 before going back to his home in Bangladesh.
The FUND of America is honored to be missioned to help spread this concept in America. America's social entrepreneurs have the ability to relieve many of the burdens that seem to be difficult for our government to address. By doing so, the day may come soon when we have true statesmen leading our country, and true citizens leading our people, both through accountability.

A MESSAGE FROM JULIE
I'm a mom. I'm a former teacher. I'm an entrepreneur.

In 1997, based on what I wanted for my own child, I made a little video called Baby Einstein. And I will tell you that no one was more surprised than me that five years and 10 videos later, The Baby Einstein Company was a multi-million-dollar enterprise and I would go on to sell to The Walt Disney Company. And two years later, no one was more surprised than my husband when I said I wanted to start all over again with a new idea – and a new company. ....HERE IS HER WEBSITE AND MISSION

A Memorial to a True Social Entrepreneur

Rick Rescorla is a true Social Entrepreneur in the purest sense. A Medaled VietNam veteran, he chose to consistently persevere to train the employees of Morgan-Stanley/Dean-Witter in evacuations procedures that literally saved thousands of lives on 9/11 in the World Trade Center. Rick realized that after the bombing of WTC in 1993 there would be another attempt at destruction of the icon of America. He spent the next 8 years selflessly and consistently laying out and following a plan that led to many lives being saved. His wife has started a Foundation in his name, not only memorializing him, but also what he stood for. Rick sacrificed his own life so that others could live. Please take some time to read and understand his place in history as a Social Entrepreneur, and also "The Man Who Predicted 9/11" .

It's official...

The process is moving along...on November 21, 2006 the State of California corporation filing was executed. We are now official. There is much work to do, decisions to be made. Our mission is serving Social Entrepreneurs. The mission field is America. During the coming months, we hope to gain civic input via this blog-site. There are Social Entrepreneurs all around us. If you feel that someone in your community should be recognized for their individual committment to making a difference in our world and in other people, by all means please nominate them for our services. Social Entrepreneurs need people, and people need Social Entrepreneurs.

Now this is a Social Entrepreneur...

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP) -- For 26 years, a man known only as Secret Santa has roamed the streets every December quietly giving people money. He started with $5 and $10 bills. As his fortune grew, so did the gifts. In recent years, Secret Santa has been handing out $100 bills, sometimes two or three at a time, to people in thrift stores, diners and parking lots. So far, he's anonymously given out about $1.3 million. It's been a long-held holiday mystery: Who is Secret Santa? But now, weak from chemotherapy and armed with a desire to pass on his belief in random kindness, Secret Santa has decided it's time to reveal his identity. He is Larry Stewart, a 58-year-old businessman from the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit, Missouri, who made his millions in cable television and long-distance telephone service.

Our Beginnings....

We are just beginning our mission and are anxious to get all things in order. We are progressing onward with establishing our official website, our method patenting process with the USPTO, refining our marketing plan, and acquiring essential candidates for our board of directors. Social Responsibility is becoming a more predominant movement in America. The Foundation for United Nonprofit Distribution will progress to become a major positive influence within America's nonprofit sector. Although our tax exempt status is in the approval process, contributions are needed and appreciated for purposes of funding our start-up agenda. May God be with all of us in our understanding that Social Responsibility is the key to achieving the most peaceful coexistence possible in our world of the 21st century.
